EUROGIN 2022 – International Multidisciplinary HPV Congress

Date: 10/04/2022
Place: Congress Center Düsseldorf, Germany
Type: Congress

The ambitious goal of Eliminating Cervical Cancer Globally remains a major focus, as does expanding these efforts to all cancers caused by HPV among women and men. As a community we will need to recover from the losses in cervical cancer screening and treatment and HPV vaccination rates that we witnessed during the COVID-19 pandemic, and quickly develop and implement an aggressive plan to forge forward to achieve this goal. Research is needed more than ever to develop cost-effective methods to increase screening, optimize screening protocols, and develop simple treatment strategies that are practical for all communities to implement, regardless of economic status. EUROGIN 2022 looks forward to driving collective efforts  to see a world in the not-too-distant future where cervical and other HPV-related cancers no longer exist.
